De-Cluttering

Often clutter gradually increases to a point where you find it distracting but are not quite sure how or where to begin to change it.  Sometimes it just requires a fresh approach.  Items may have been accumulated on purpose, gathered incidentally, or inherited from someone else, the volume of which slowly builds, often unnoticed.   The excessiveness of items in a room is what we call “visual noise”.  We can help you restore peace and calm.

Organising

Being well organized helps to reduce fatigue, worry, stress and anxiety, and helps to increase focus, improve general wellbeing, mental health and productivity.   There is something wonderful about working in a space that is well organized.  Whether it be cooking in your kitchen, working in your laundry or working from home in your office space, you will quickly understand and enjoy the many benefits that come from having a space that is well organised.

Defining Spaces

Are you working from your kitchen table? Do you fold laundry in the living room? Do you iron in front of the tv? Do you pay bills at the kitchen bench?  Having clearly defined spaces can be very beneficial to working efficiently and effectively – let’s look at that together.

Streamlining for busy Mums

Being a homemaker is one of the most important roles you will ever undertake.  It is also one of the hardest and most relentless jobs there is, and when it is often juggled with paid work, it can seem stressful and overwhelming.  Help is at hand!  There are many systems, strategies and procedures we can suggest, depending on your individual needs, and once your processes are streamlined, you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it sooner!

Help with Hoarding

Are you or someone you know affected by hoarding?  Hoarding is a complex, diagnosable and treatable condition.  To help someone who hoards it takes a team of people, including someone specialized in guiding the client through the process of elimination of extreme clutter.  O&E will work in close liaison with relevant members of the health profession and providers of community care to assist in making the home environment a safe place to be.

Moving Home

This can be a very stressful and overwhelming time.  Having a Professional Organiser to help and guide you with how and what to pack will make the transition smoother and a little less daunting.  Before you get to the stage of engaging removalists, why not let us help and guide you to make a careful assessment of what you will need to take with you, and what you may be willing to let go of.  This is often a very emotional and exhausting process, but you don’t need to feel overwhelmed – we can work along side you to assist, guide and encourage – and we can sort and pack as we go.
